Jill Fulop has been in the cosmetic industry for more than 25 years, having begun her work in San Francisco working for various makeup artistry lines. She found her passion to be actually making up faces and interacting with her clients. She was moved to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania with her husband to help open up the new Nordstrom, moving from there to a regional position in Nordstrom’s cosmetics buying offices.

The frequent, extensive business trips took a toll on Jill and her new, young family. She stopped traveling for Nordstrom and began to work special events for Bobbi Brown cosmetics locally. It was then that she decided to test the waters and begin a new venture…start a wedding makeup artistry business with her good friend, Kelly.

Jill’s entrepreneurial spirit kicked in as she realized that the Philadelphia area needed artists that traveled to them. The last thing a bride should be worrying about is traveling on her wedding date…except to her venue!

With Jill’s strong background in the industry combined with an intense customer service-driven spirit, Face The Occasion Makeup Artistry became an instant success and was widely received.

In addition to her training and experience with Nordstrom and Bobbi Brown, Jill has been trained in MAC, Trish McEvoy, Lancome, Estee’ Lauder, Nars, and Chanel. Every year she attends artistry shows in NYC and keeps informed of any new cutting edge products and techniques.

After making up thousands of faces, Jill has found that she has figured out how to ask simple, yet telling questions of each individual. These questions allow for her to nail down the exact look that the client will feel most comfortable with. Usually, that look is NOT about making the person look dramatically different from who they truly are. It’s about giving them and elegant and tastefully enhanced look to their natural beauty. When she is done with her application, her clients feel beautiful and confident.

During her 25 years of working in the industry, Jill has met many famous faces. When you meet Jill, ask her about her artistry work on Elton John, Billie Jean King, and Mary Carillo! She has also had the pleasure of working with a couple of NYC Rockettes and other well known celebrities.

With all this time in the wedding business, Jill has come to recognize the importance of not just focusing on the bride, but also being very aware of the others involved in the wedding, specifically mothers, sisters, best friends, and grandmas. She never tires of helping each individual feel their best and most beautiful on such a special, joyful occasion.
